in the summer of 2023, i took a photography class in paris, where the final assignment was to create a series inspired by our personal view of the city. i wanted to channel the feelings of romance and isolation i felt while living there so decided to focus on individual people walking in front of the iconic parisian doorways. i was inspired by the deep history of the architecture and the diversity of the city. i made a final booklet of all the images and a video to the song “strangers” by the kinks.
